Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This page explains exactly which cookies the MarkTech Solutions website uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a website, typically used to remember some state (such as being logged in) across pages and visits.
The Cookies We Actually Use
Our website uses only two cookies, both strictly necessary to run the site — we do not currently set any marketing, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies:
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
customer_token |
Keeps you logged in as a customer, so you don't need to sign in on every page. | 7 days |
marktech_admin_session |
Keeps our internal team's admin dashboard session — never used for regular site visitors. | 12 hours |
Both cookies are cryptographically signed, sent only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and are not readable by browser JavaScript (HttpOnly) — an extra safeguard against session theft.
Controlling Cookies
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking the customer_token cookie will automatically log you out of your account, and you will need to log in again on every visit.
